BeatMaker 2 FAQ
BeatMaker 2 is compatible with devices starting third generation (iPhone 3GS, iPod 3G 32GB, iPad 1 & 2).
You need to use a FTP client software on your computer and connect it to the address given in BeatMaker's File Transfer screen.
Here are some freeware FTP clients you can download for MacOS X and Windows:
MacOS X:
- Cyberduck: http://www.cyberduck.ch
- FileZilla: http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
Windows:
- FileZilla: http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
- WinSCP: http://winscp.net
BeatMaker does not limit the number of instruments, effects or tracks you can create. This limit depends of the processing power and memory of your iPhone/iTouch/iPad.
In the studio view, press and hold the instrument or effect you would like to delete during 1 second. A panel will popup to confirm the deletion of the instrument/effect.
BeatMaker's file browser only shows certain types of files depending of the context. If you are loading a preset, only preset files will be visible. If you want to see your samples, go to the Sample Lab and press the Open button.
As you create more tracks, load more presets or samples, BeatMaker will use more RAM memory. iOS may close BeatMaker without any warning if the system is running short on memory. To avoid this issue, try closing all the other applications running in the background. A reboot of your device can also help reset the memory usage.
We wished so, but unfortunately at the moment there is no paid upgrade system on the App Store.
