BeatMaker 1.3.5 is now available

Dear subscriber, We are pleased to announce the availability of BeatMaker 1.3.5 on the App Store ! As requested by Apple, we had to change the way BeatMaker was accessing audio samples exported from other applications. We have now implemented a standard copy/paste method allowing to exchange audio data between applications that support it. Please be aware that at the time of writing, importing audio from software such as Noise.io is unavailable. We also took the opportunity to implement a much-requested feature : automatic Velocity/Pitch/Pan spreading over the pads. This turns the 16 pads into a mini-keyboard for easier composition of melodies, dynamic rhythms and stereo imaging ! BeatMaker 1.3.4 available on the App Store

BeatMaker 1.3.3 released

Hello, We have just released a new update to BeatMaker which is now available on the Apple App Store. This is a free update for existing BeatMaker owners. * Notes on BeatMaker 1.3.3 * This updates fixes some issues reported by BeatMaker users. One of them affects the handling of sample pitch tuning between the pad view and the pitch editor in the step sequencer. Under certain (rare) circunstances, it is possible that some sequenced notes from an older song sound slightly altered. Thanks to everybody for their support and feedback ! Intua Team.

Dear subscriber, We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of BeatMaker version 1.3 ! It requires firmware 2.2 to be installed on your iPhone / iPod Touch. You may also want to backup your BeatMaker user content using BeatPack before upgrading. This is a free update for current BeatMaker owners. What's new in version 1.3 : * New step sequencer: - Patterns can now be up to 4 bars long - Step resolution: patterns can now be edited with a resolution of up to 1/64T, making possible the creation of more complex and richer patterns. - Two new editors: Pitch and Pan editing by steps. The pitch editor brings you the capability to compose complete melodies from just one sample, as you would do with a synthesizer or keyboard sampler. - New pattern preview bar for easy lookup and navigation * Improved song sequencer: - Each pattern placed on the timeline can now be resized - Insert and remove bars on the timeline - Zoom In and Out for faster navigation and editing - Dynamic access bar to quickly go to different song parts * Audio recording: record samples directly from the iPhone built-in microphone or headset (also works on iPod Touch 2nd generation with headset).
